    There was a powerful woman in Ireland Rose Mhic Treoinm and she wished to make Ross the capital of Ireland.

    thinking they were up at Ross Harbour they tried to land. They struck the rocks at the point and floundered one by one. The light was extinguished by the fairies and the mother abandoned the idea of building a capital at Ross.
