- Once upon a time a girl went to a dance and she drank intoxications. She was asked to dance by a beautiful young man. She got out and was half way's through the dance when she happened to look down an saw a cloven foot. The girl ran out as fast as her legs would carry her. She never ventured into that hall again.
- There are some old ruins of an old castle in County Monaghan. It was built by a man by the name of McMahon. The ruins are over two hundred years old.(continues on next page)
