    When St. Patrick was coming across the country he passed through this district.
    When he was going past Legga he went into a house for a bit to eat and they got meat for him.
    When they left it on the table to him it was a dog and he blessed the meat and it turned into a fish and he ate the fish.
    He cursed the land as far as he could see and that townland was called Kiltycon since that
