a lonesome sight met the setting sun
The Fairies came with lanterns fair
And laid to rest a coffin there.
They were supposed to have stolen the coffin of a man who used to visit them often and bury it there. In John Kiernan's field of Ballyduffy, Moyne, there was a graveyard for unbaptised children.- Collector
