    Ballinamuck 4 September 1798 (continued)
    God bles and guide these noble hearts,
    Who ne'er the Green forsook.
    God prosper them ein future life
    That loves you, Ballinamuck
    IIII
    The Cassidy's from Fardromontown,
    Are there to lead the van,
    And foremost still to hold their own,
    And guard the rights of man;
    Who from the Red Hand's bloody chief
    These sons of Ulster look
    To guard their own - ne'er live as slaves
    Or fall at Ballinamuck.
    V
    Such men as those, who ne'er would bow
    To a colour save the Green -
    You find them out, and lose no time -
    They all know what I mean.
    The enemy's flag waves high to-night
    Beneath yon winding rock;
    Our clans must meet by signal note,
    And march to Ballinamuck.
