    Holy Wells
When Saint Patrick came to Ireland he found the Druids working their spells at the well
The well belongs to a farmer called George Burns and his children come to this school.
For the people to get acquainted with the true faith he blessed the well
In the year 1837 there were three trees growing at it and a cupan to get a drink out of.
I got this information from James Smith, Coolcor aged seventy.
Transcribed by a member of our volunteer transcription project.
