  1. There is an old ruin near where I live and it is called Charletons folly. It was called this name because Charleton did not finish his building. When it was being built the mortar was wet with bullock's blood. The walls are still standing as good as when they were built which I am sure is over 200 years ago. It is covered with ivy and the cattle go into it for shelter from sun or rain there are heaps of mortar around it still.
