  1. My great granduncle Mr Shaw who lived at Clonturk, County Longford was coming home one moonlight night late riding a horse by the side of a bog. There were a lot of little people running around a bog hole and a hat was floating on the water. They called to him for help to save Tom Ross a friend of his who was being drowned he was afraid to go to help. The next morning he went over to Rosses house and found him asleep in his bed.
