    and say the Rosary, saying if she was their real daughter she would join in the responses and if she was something left by the fairies which he thought she was would say nothing.
    So they put down the fire, said the rosary and went to put the girl on the the fire but she vanished. When they went outside they met their real daughter on the steps and she said she remembered nothing only a strange feeling that had come over her while she was milking in the fields.
