  1. Once upon a time there was a very pious man who lived in a small thatched house along the side of the road. He had a cow and had no grass to support her. Therefore in that way he had to herd her along the road on the nibbled grass.
    One day a parson came along and noticed the man with the cow but passed no remarks for about three weeks. He came along another in his car, halted, got out and asked him why was it that he was there herding his cow and the man answered that he had no grass for her.
