  1. One night a man was coming from Granard riding a horse. He fell from his horse and when he got up there was a crowd of black fairies around him.
    The leader of the fairies went up to the man who said:
    "If you injure me, I'll cut your head off."
    "I will", answered the fairy, and with that the man drew his knife, and cut the fairy's head off.
