  2. The Famine

    In 1846 the blight on the potato crop caused a famine and the people died. The people went to other countries. Some people dug the potatoes and saved them until the next spring. The potatoes were so small that potatoes. The year after the people had good potatoes. The year of the famine the people eat cabbage and other foods.
