  1. There is the story of a police-man who lived near here and was stationed in Dublin. One night as he was after returning from his duty feeling very tired he lay down in his bed to rest. Just as he was about to sleep he felt a strange feeling, as he thought he felt his mother's gentle hand on his forehead, and he was greatly frightened. Two days later he received a telegram stating that his mother was dead. When he read it he was not a bit surprised for he knew it was his mother who placed her hand
