    In Summer-time the girls gather daisies and pull the heads off them and put them on a string and they have a daisy chain made.
    Conquers.
    The boys bore a hole in a chestnut and put a string through it and they call the game they play Conquers. The boys about here still make them.
    Catapults.
    Get a piece of a tree like a fork. They call it the fork. They also get two pieces of rubber the same size and tie the rubber on to the fork and they have a catapult made. The boys about here still make them.
