  1. There is a Holy Well out in Mullavornia. The name of it is Saint Patrick's Well and the reason it is called Saint Patrick's Well is because it was Saint Patrick who blessed it a long time ago. It is in a field and the people say there is a big tree growing over it and they also say that there is a big stone around the well. On every Saint Patrick's Day the people go out to the well and they say prayers at it. When they are coming away they leave some money there, about one and six-pence or a shilling for the poor people.
