    of tartar mixed together or lime water. Melt a small piece of wax and put it on the boil and it will cure it.
    A cure for corns is to get a piece of fat bacon and put it on them or a piece of soap or a piece of an onion.
    A cup of strong tea will cure a headache.
    A cure for a hiccup is to hold back your head and swallow three times. Close your lips and stop your breathing. Sugar is good for a hiccup also or three sips of water or a good fright.
