  1. Leprechauns
Long ago there were many leprechauns in Multyfarnham. One day a man went into Ballinacloon planting to gather sticks. As he went in he saw a leprechaun behind a tree. He stole over to the tree and caught the leprechaun. He told him he would kill him if he didn't tell him where the money was. The Leprechaun said " My wife is over there at that tree. If you ask her she will get it for you." But when the man took him eyes off the leprechaun the latter ran away and the poor man was left alone in the wood.
