  1. Holy Wells
There are not many holy wells round this district. The only one I know is St. Rose's Well which is situated near Ballinacloon. I do not think it ever went dry. It is a very good well for cures. It cures people with pains and cramps. There is another well named Camóg near Multyfarnham which was founded by a saint but I do not know his name. It is said that a tramp washed her face in it and the water changed its place. It is a well that never goes dry.
