    The Leipreachaun (story)
A Leipreachaun is a very little man. He dresses in a green jacket and red stockings and a cap of the same colour. he is usually found in lonely places cobbling and singing to himself as does so. He is noted for his cuteness. The following is a story about a Leipreachaun.
Once upon a time a leipreachaun played a trick on a man by the name of John McCarthy who lived in a small thatched house with his mother, wife and four children. They had a small farm on which the leipreachaun worked in a shady nook. Sioban was John's mothers name.
