    It is decorated with wild flowers and some times with candles. Children go around to the doors, asking a penny or a candle for the May Bush. They dance and play and sing around the bush.

    Potatoes mashed and mixed with onions are cooked up and served up on "Colcannon Night" - Last night of September.
    Butter is put in a little hole on top of the Colcannon.
