  1. I live in Gallow's Hill, situated about a quarter of a mile from the village of Delvin. This hill is not very big. There only four houses built on it. There are about twenty two people living there.
    It is said Gallow's Hill got its name from the fact that long ago, people were hanged on this hill.
    On one side of the hill is a large field called Ardnacretty. The land in this field is supposed to be the best in County Westmeath. Many people say Mass was said there in penal days.
