  2. There is only one mass rock of the penal times that we know of in this area. This rock is situated in Dan Byrne's wood in Clenleduffys. It is situated about a quarter of a mile from the public road and it is in a very lonesome part of the wood.
    There is another mass rock in Rathieve but this one is not of the penal times. It was St Patrick who used this one when he was preaching the faith in Ireland.
