  1. Gibbstown Castle is a big castle. It is built on a big site. I have got a story telling how it was built on this site. The Colonel had a big bull. One fine morning he let out the bull to career about the demesne. Up and down he went and up and down and at last he had to lay down from sheer exhaustion. Quite near the road he laid down and around that particular spot is built the great Castle of Gibbstown. It was the bull that marked the site.
