  1. Most marriages take place in the districts of Bective and Robinstown in the month of February. The month of May is considered very unlucky for marriages. There are many old sayings about the days on which weddings take place:-
    Monday for health,
    Tuesday for wealth,
    Wednesday the best day of all,
    Thursday for losses
    Friday for crosses
    Saturday no luck at all.
    There are many beliefs regarding the could of the brides dress:-

    Married in grey.
    You'll go far away,
    Married in brown,
    You'll live in the town,
    Married in Green
    Ashamed to be seen,
    Married in yellow,
