    November the 3rd in 91 a splendid hunting morn,
    the woods around were heard to ring with Mr Briscoe's horn,
    For on that date in dazzling dress true sportsmen of renown.
    Did muster strong, a goodby throng, in far-fame Robinstown

    Precisely at the hour named G. V. was on the sceen,
    He looked the master head of sport, with cap and jacket green,
    Behind the pack P. Bradley rode, where he was oft before
    His equals were indeed, but few, when glowing silk he wore.

    The sport was of the rarest kind, and quarry easy found
    The people viewed the gorgeous scene from knoll and ditch around;
    The sporting folks well liked their runs, all were in
