  1. Long ago during the Penal Days the people were all dying of hunger. One man took pity on the little children so he asked twenty of them to his house.
    When he brought them in he gave them food to eat. When they were going he asked one little girl to stay behind. He asked her was she Catholic and she said she was. He then pretended his was not of the same religion and he said "If you tell me where the mass is said and where the priest is hiding I will give you some money and food. The child would not tell him although she was hungry. The man said she was a very good child and gave her a lot of coins for being faithful to her religion.
