  1. There is a well in Channonrock. It is said that St Patrick washed his hands in the well one day, when he was teaching the true faith to the people. Then he told the people to kneel down and pray that the people who washed any sore in the water it would be cured. On the 17th March a mass is always said in honour of St Patrick at the well. When he washed his hands he said a mass at the well. And you can see the mark of his knees and his stick where he left
