  1. The ruins of Dunmahon Castle are to be seen in Dunmahon about three miles from my house. It is very high and is a round shape. There is winding stairs made of stone going up to the top of the castle.
    During the summer many visitors come to the castle and climb to one of the three floors that are on it and look out the window. They can see for miles around them.
    Long ago when Cromwell was in Ireland the people of Dunmahon were hearing mass in the
