  2. Clermont House & Demesne in this T.L. The parish church is a small neat building.
    It contains 1292 ac. 3 rds. 27 pers.

  3. This castle is remarkably well built - in good preservation, the turrets being perfect or nearly so. They appear to have been roofed in. It is a square building for stories high independent of the turrets. There is an aperture over the door in the thickness of the wall for its defence.
