    It is said that there was a house in Bellurgan Point belonging to Wolfe (Tone) O'Neill who was Captain of the Yeomanry. He was a very wicked man. After he died there was a ghost in his house. The priest caught the ghost and put it in a bottle and drowned it in the Ballymascanlon River.
