  1. This is the story told locally about the Blessed Virgin and St. Joseph and the Infant Jesus. When they were going to Egypt the Blessed Virgin lost the pin of her cloak. This was a great inconvenience as the wind was blowing the cloak off. When the Blessed Virgin came to a forge the smithy made a pin for her. The Blessed Virgin then said the smithys would never be tired after their days work.
