    The Cois. It was a path for priests through the bog. It is called Cos an tsagairt.
    The Moundreen. It is woody land in Ballinagarde.
    Moneens. It is soft and swampy land in the parish of Loughinstown.
    Gort na Carrageen. A rocky field in Ballinagarde
    Carraig an Aifreann. In the "Penal Days" mass was said there. The print of a priest's foot is still to be seen in Rockstown. It is a stone in a hollow in a field in Rockstown.
    Moin an Oír. It means the golden turf - a field in Ballinagarde.
    Buacaill hill. A hill in Ballybricken where a boy was found asleep
