  1. There is a hill two miles from here called Caherhill. The Danes lived there in ancient times. It is supposed they hid gold in this hill.
    As late as two years ago the neighbours made a search for it and didn't find it.There is a lake close by to this hill and it is supposed that there is a barrel of gold outside it.They made an attempt to go out to search for it, they were nearly drowned. They didn't find it.
