THE FRENCHMAN'S STREAM is situated on Mr. Connelly's land.

THE BELLA FIELD is situated in Rathronan.

A part of the road at the bottom of the forge hill is called LOCH an BHÓTHAIR because in Winter it is covered with water.

There is a hill near Phelan's and it is called LOCH ATHRÚ because on a rainy day little streams cross each other on that hill.

Beside Mr. Stokes' house there is a hill called SPIDERS HILL because a spider could hardly climb up it, it is so steep.

There is an old road coming through Mr. Gorman's fields down along through Kiely's fields and through Darmody's. It was supposed to have been the main road long ago.

THE MILE STREAM flows into the Anner.

One of Mr Cantwell's fields is called the PÁIRCÍN bcause it is small compared with the fields that are around it.
