  1. A man by the name of Patrick Bourke of Kilfithmone was coming from a neighbours house one night about 9' O clock it was a dark night. He got into a field which was a short cut and he was put astray for about two-miles he came out at a place called Knockanure lane and fell off the ditch and nearly broke his nose. When he got up he turned his coat inside out and reached home safely about two O'clock in the morning.
