  1. One night Mr Pat Rabill of Bleakfield was driving home from town along the long boreen that leads to his home in the hills.
    When he was about half a mile from his own home the leg of a man appeared on the top of the ditch beside him and leaped on to the shaft of his car.
    Mr Rabill jumped off his car and was making his way home across the fields as quickly as possible.
    He was not got far however when the leg appeared by his side. He got such a fright
