7. Soap is made out of tallow. Tallow is got from a cow or a goat.
8. Thatching is done with straw and scallops. The thatcher puts on a bundle of straw and hold it together with scallops. Scallops are made with sally sticks split in halves.

12. The make this rope get a stick and twist the hay with it.
13. A little ban for butter is made with timber. The carpenter would get a piece of plywood about an inch high and put it into a pot of hot water and steam it. Then he would glue it onto the piece for the cotton.
