    She would keep twisting the wheel until the spindle would be full of thread, and then she would take out the full spindle, and put in an empty one.
    A spindle is much the same as a reel only being long. It spins it very even and nice.
    There is an old lime kiln in Ballyhoman in the parish of Askeaton. It is on the lands of John O'Shaughness.
    It was working for six years, but before that it was not working for thirty years. It is a very old lime kiln.
    There was a lot of lime burned in it years gone by. It was the principal place for it until the one started in Askeaton.
