  1. There are two fairy forts in the townland of Slumber Hill in Mr. Rooneys land and therere are a couple in the townland of Burnfort. They are within view of one another and they are all round. There is a fence of earth around each one.
    Once a man dreamt that there was gold hidden in a fort near Dromahane. a crowd of men came to look for it. next day but a bull hunted them. On the following day another crowd came to look for it but a swarm of bees hunted them.
