Where cowled monks did vigil keep

The living God did onee enshrine
The Living God! And angels glad
Kept watch and guard o'er old Cooline.VII

For many a saint lies resting there
Beneath that soft and peaceful sword
Or gathered in that house of prayer.IX
A place embowered with tree and shade.
Where wild flowers bloom as if to say:—
"Our homage to the master paid
We gladly fade and pass away"X
The huntsman horn is heard at eve,
His hounds to check and draw away
Ardglass re-echoes glad to give
