    XI
A rippling brook flow gently by
Midst Anagh's banks it greets Awbeg
And message bears past Cahir high
    To Imphrieks aisle and Ballybeg.
    XII
The songbirds too, of cheerful note
    The blackbirds, throstles linger here;
While o'er the marsh and moor remote
The wild fowl fly full fast, not near.
    XIII
But nearer, nearer, comes the day
When to my loved ones I must go.
My end be theirs, their path my way
To reach the heaven of bliss also.
    XIV
Yes we shall meet and part no more
But joyful sing the live-long day
The eternal day! What splendid [?]!
The former things have passed away.
    XV
While thus I muse on me and mine
Those cherished ones to my heart near
Bright fancy wings me to Cooline
    My place of Resurrection dear.
