    They sought for beauty every place where angels wing might flow,
    'Twas there they found Killarney the gem of the old Isle,
    And at Dunloe Kate Kearney was smiling all the while."
    No other place on God's green earth where rills and streamlets flow,
    You'll find such rural beauty round a cottage white as snow,
    Small wonder that the angels stood to view the beauties there,
    Of mountain green and lakes between and valleys more than fair.
    So come down to Kate Kearney in sunshine or in rain,
    There's glory in her blarney, sweet Kerry
