    how oft i think of thee
    It's on the hills of a summer's more glorious, gay and free,
    I crossed the broad Atlantic and never yet I own
    I never saw a spot so grand as the hills of sweet Dunowen
    I sailed o'er the water
    The tears fell from my eyes
    Thinking of the kind old friends and neighbours I left behind
    But now I am in America and always think of home
    And of the happy days I spent on the hills of sweet Dunowen.
