    very long made, about 90 or 100 years ago. There are five roads leading from Carey's Cross, but are branching off to different places, by crossroads, bohereens, and old paths.
    There are other crosses as well as Carey's Cross in my district, with a great many roads leading to different places, such as Clancool Cross, Maulmaon Cross and Ballymore.
