After they returned to bed, they heard noises in the kitchen, and the cups and saucers being broken there. When they arose in the morning they found the kitchen as they had left with no broken furniture as they had expected. The noises continued each night; and the kitchen was the same way in the morning. After a few days they got the house blessed, and from that forward they heard no more noises.
