    Coomhola, Dear old Colomane and many others. He also wrote on his voyages at sea and on his life in America.

    MIKE SHEA lived in the district of Schull. He made many poems. The best poem he made was about a great fishing boat in Schull "The Star". This poem consisted of three English verses and three Irish verses. He called himself:-
    "Mike Shea, the poor Irish rake,
    That spent all his halfpennies go fánac."

    JOHN REILLY was a school teacher in Sherkin National School. He was a great scholar and was also a great poet. His poems were English. One of his poems is "The Trip of the St. Anna."
