  1. Potatoes are sown extensively throughout Ireland. There are different kinds of potatoes such as British Queens, Black Champions, and Kerpinks and the Black Champion is the nicest potato of all. There is a certain amount of each kind of those potatoes sown every year and each farmer sows about an acre of potatoes every year.
