  2. An other Prayer that I learned at home.
I must die I do not know when or how or where but if I die in mortal sin I am lost forever. Jesus have mercy on me.
Transcribed by a member of our volunteer transcription project.
  3. This is also another prayer I heard at home.
As I lie down on my right side, I pray to God to be my guide
There are four corners on my bed, there are four Angels over head,
Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, Bless the bed that I lie upon.
If I die before I wake, I pray to God my soul to take.
If any evil come to me, Hail Mary waken me.
God is the branch, Our Lady is the flower
God be with me now, and at my dying hour.
Transcribed by a member of our volunteer transcription project.
