  1. In the townland of Kildee there is a field called the "Keels". The field is situated near an old road and it is two fields from the public road. It contains about four acres and it is divided into small plots and broken down fences are still to be seen there. One of these plots was a graveyard in olden days and the signs of the graves still remain. Anybody living at the present day does not remember having seen people buried there. But they heard from their forefathers that the main road leading to the graveyard was up the Mill Gate and along an old boreen that now only acts as a separation between two farms. Up to thirty and as late a twenty years ago strange flowers were to be seen growing
