D'airígheas daoine ghá rádh go raibh fear darab Lambert dá thaisbeáint féin ag Droichead na Mionáin. Do chonnaic an Sagart é (An t-Athair Críodáin) agus do dhíbir sé as an áit é agus níor thaiseán sé é féin riamh ó shoin ann.D'fhiafruig fear den sagart lá cad a dhein sé leis. Tá sé sa móinteán," ar seisean,"taobh thuaidh do'n Droichead i n-a sheasamh ar mhullach a chinn.Fé thor geatraighe agus má grafann aon fear go deó an tor geatraighe nochtfaidh sé bonn a gcos agus fanfhaidh ann go lá an breitheamhantais.
NOTAÍThe above from an Irish speaking resident now dead is not to be taken seriously. But an entry in an old parish record in Drinagh presbytery by a Parish priest on or about the year 1801 was worded as follows."On Sunday (date) as I was proceeding from Drinagh to Drimoleague at a spot by Minanes Cross. I publicly exorcise a possessed woman". The writing was clearly legible though the ink had faded somewhat. My brother read it for himself about 1903. James Nyhan
